Oupa Mokgoantle is the Managing Partner of Risk Assurance and Advisory Services (RAAS) at The Shard. The Shard’s RAAS specialists offer assurance and advisory services over the quality of internal control, risk and governance. He has over 20 years of experience providing internal audit, risk management, regulatory compliance and IT controls related services. He served in senior leadership roles in internal audit and compliance at several large organisations, within both the private and public sector.

Oupa currently leads The Shard’s Dynamic Internal Auditing (IA) initiative, developing the methodology and working with clients to transform their internal audit practices by applying dynamic and agile techniques. He is passionate about making businesses and professionals succeed, especially by harnessing the power of innovative and emerging and leading-edge technology.

Oupa’s areas of special interest, includes, but are not limited to: IT strategy, digital transformation and innovation, business value creation through IT, business process optimization, tax & IFRS compliance, business continuity and cybersecurity resilience, internet of things, intellectual property, data analytics, data visualization and storytelling, virtualization and emerging technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence, virtual reality, quantum & serverless computing, drones, 5G networks, Blockchain, Robotics).
